Holly Blomquist has been promoted to Ring & DuChateau’s newest partner. She has been with the firm since 2014, starting as a lighting designer, followed by a promotion to lighting group manager in 2017, and being named an associate in 2019.

“We’re thrilled that Holly has accepted the partnership,” said Ring & DuChateau President Mike McGann. “She brings to the group unique industry insight and experience so will continue to be a valuable asset as we move forward.”

Holly holds a bachelor’s degree from Clarke College in Iowa, plus a Master of Fine Arts from UW-Madison. She has won several industry awards in her career and was named one of the Milwaukee Business Times Notable Women in Construction & Design in 2020. In her 11 years with Ring & DuChateau, Holly has built a solid team that has established itself within the industry as a value-added service for engineering design, as well as a stand-alone provider of lighting design services. Her professional background also includes theatrical lighting for live performances and performance facilities.

Sam Escobedo has joined Ring & Du’s HVAC department as its newest BIM technician. After a year and a half of coursework at UW-Milwaukee, Sam targeted his interest in the AEC industry by earning an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology from Milwaukee Area Technical College. In addition to his interest in building systems, Sam has been a self-employed barber for the past 11 years.

Muyi Adonri, who joined Ring & DuChateau as an intern in December, has accepted a full-time position as an engineer in the HVAC department. He earned his master’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering in February and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Covenant University in Nigeria. Prior to his internship with Ring & DuChateau, Muyi gained mechanical and plumbing systems design experience as an intern with healthcare and fitness facilities.

Through Ring & DuChateau’s steady and sustained growth over the last 60+ years from a handful of staff to our current group of 90, we’ve maintained what is central to our continued success – quality engineering. What is unique about the way we’ve done that is that fundamentally we are engineers, even in the business functions of the company. To better manage our client focus and better serve those business functions, Ring & DuChateau’s Managing Board of Partners has appointed an expanded management group to the position of Vice President.

The new Vice Presidents are:

Chris and Jason will focus on Business Development and Marketing.  TJ and Josh will be focused on Operations.  Steve will be focused on technology.

As a company, our 60+-year history is filled with many successes, and this new structure will build on the core of who we are as engineers. It will help us work smarter and maintain agility to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Pablo Guerrero has become Ring & DuChateau’s newest  Designer of Engineering Systems (DE) licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Earning the license required a minimum of seven years of experience, combined with education, three letters from licensed engineers/designers advocating to allow him to take the examination, and passing the examination. Pablo has been working toward the licensure since he started at Ring & DuChateau in 2014. The license allows him to stamp HVAC drawings when needed and increase his professional status and responsibilities.

In addition to his new license, Pablo earned his Certified HVAC Designer (CHD) from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) in 2020 and holds an associate degree in Architectural Technology from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is also certified as a LEED® Green Associate.

Paul Lippitt is the newest member of Ring & DuChateau’s Plumbing team, joining the group as a project engineer based in the Madison office. He is a licensed Master Plumber and Registered Designer for both plumbing and fire protection and brings to the position more than 47 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Ring & Du, he was a project manager with the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration-Division of Facilities Development for 10 years. Welcome, Paul!
