WHEA Chapter 1 Names Ring & Du Sponsor of the Year

The Wisconsin Health Engineers Association (WHEA) Chapter 1 recognized Ring & DuChateau as its sponsor of the year for the 2020-2021 season. Ring & DuChateau Partner/Senior Commissioning Provider Dave Guberud accepted the award on behalf of Ring & DuChateau on June 10 at the Chapter’s summer banquet.

“We view our involvement with WHEA– as member engineers, in volunteer leadership – as crucial to being a part of the innovative healthcare engineering landscape here in Wisconsin,” said Ring & DuChateau Vice President Mike McGann, a long-time WHEA member. “We’re proud to be recognized within this community.”

As a sponsor, Ring & DuChateau assists the Chapter by coordinating its summer banquet in June and annual golf outing in September.

“Our recognition is largely due to the work of Peggy Welden, Rae Peardon and Pam Volk for what they do in preparation for those events,” McGann said. In addition, staff provide educational presentations at Chapter meetings and the statewide annual meeting as requested. Welden is commissioning assistant, Peardon is director of first impressions and Volk is business development coordinator for Ring & DuChateau.

WHEA Chapter 1, with membership from southeastern Wisconsin, is one of six chapters of the statewide organization. WHEA formed in 1965 to create a state association for hospital engineers to promote the improvement of hospital services by assisting the members to exchange ideas relating to the total hospital program and to advance the members by promoting engineering education specific to healthcare.
