Despite pouring rain, gusting winds and 40-degree temperatures, Ring & DuChateau Electrical Project Engineer Matt Jungers finished his first-time run of the Boston Marathon April 16. Jungers came in 1,019th with a time of 2:54:48 in a field of more than 25,000 runners who finished the race. Of the 374 runners from Wisconsin, Jungers time put him 18th for state participants. His time qualifies him for next year’s race, in which he plans to participate. The race is Jungers 7th marathon.
Electrical Department Manager Gordy Pierret helps Matt Jungers celebrate his Boston Marathon finish with commemorative confetti.
