Specific duties
include client proposals, project estimates, contract
negotiations, and managing client relationships on budget and
timeline in adherence to R&D’s innovative design and high
quality standards. Additional responsibilities include contract
administration, subcontractor procurement, act as liaison for
architects and clients; scheduling and costing; supervision of
the project; lead, manage and facilitate a project team; risk
management and quality control. Limited travel (not usually more
than overnight visits) required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an
emphasis or specific training in Project Management.
Five to ten years
experience and Professional Engineer license required.
A minimum of 5 years
of project management experience, with exposure to design of
HVAC systems.
Demonstrated ability
to communicate project objectives, problems, scope changes, and
regular status reports.
Strong written,
verbal presentation and negotiation skills.
Exceptional
interpersonal skills managing multi-level communications and
relationships are essential.
Must demonstrate an
ability to build teams, make sound decisions and drive action
cross functionally.
Demonstrated
exceptional planning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Ability to function
effectively in a demanding environment and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
Strong client
management skills.
Proficient in MS
Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
