Education (minimum): Bachelor's Degree
Experience level (minimum): 4-6 Years
Specific duties include client proposals, project estimates, contract negotiations, and managing client relationships on budget and timeline in adherence to R&D’s innovative design and high quality standards. Additional responsibilities include contract administration, subcontractor procurement, act as liaison for architects and clients; scheduling and costing; supervision of the project; lead, manage and facilitate a project team; risk management and quality control. Limited travel (not usually more than overnight visits) required.

The ideal candidate will possess:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis or specific training in Project Management.

  • Five to ten years experience and Professional Engineer license required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with exposure to design of HVAC systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate project objectives, problems, scope changes, and regular status reports.

  • Strong written, verbal presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills managing multi-level communications and relationships are essential.

  • Must demonstrate an ability to build teams, make sound decisions and drive action cross functionally.

  • Demonstrated exceptional planning, analytical, and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to function effectively in a demanding environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong client management skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
