Health & Dental/Vision Insurance

• R&D pays 90% of the cost of medical insurance for you and your family. 

  is met.  Savings due to favorable claims experience are passed along to employees.

• R&D pays 100% of the cost of dental/vision and basic life insurance for you and your family. 

Life and Disability Income Insurance

R&D pays 100% of the cost for $50,000 of Life & Accidental Death coverage for all employees.  You have the option of purchasing supplemental life insurance for yourself and/or for 

   your spouse/children.

Both short-term and long-term disability plans are offered and paid for by R&D.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Vacation, employee or child/spouse illnesses, emergency--you decide how to use PTO.

• Generous PTO allowances--120 hours in the first year.

Employees may carry over un-used PTO or accumulate it in a bank for extended illnesses.

 

Summer Schedule/Flexible Work Hours

You may elect to work a summer schedule between May and September that gives you Friday afternoons off!

Flexible work schedules are also available.

401(K)/Profit Sharing

Generous Profit Sharing Plan, paying twice the current industry standard.

R&D matches employee contributions ($0.25/$1.00 up to 6%) and utilizes this plan for profit sharing.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Health Care and Dependent Care accounts are available to maximize pre-tax benefits.

Employee contributions to health insurance premiums are made with pre-tax dollars.
